- Description: 1-story; wood frame with narrow board siding; brick foundation, concrete skirt or foundation wall across front; irregular plan; steep intersecting hip and gable roofs with pedimented gable ends, barge boards, fish scale shingles; small inset porch with brick columns, two entry doors set at 90 degrees, one multipaned glass and wood, other is wood; windows 2/2 wood double-hung with hood mold; detached 2-story wood frame garage at rear.
- Significance: Good example of style; built by N.R. Miller who was with 1st State Bank and Trust in Lufkin; Mr.A.G. Perry moved into the house at the age of 5, after it was moved to Moore St. The 1928 directory lists Alma G. and Fannie Perry. The 1937 directory also lists the Perry’s; he was a trucking contractor. Their son Alma G. Perry sill owns the structure.
