Description: 2-story frame with bull-nosed siding; ell plan with projecting bay; composition gable roof pierced by one corbeled chimney, turret on east facade, gables have fishscale shingles and stained glass windows; windows are 1/1 wood double-hung, some have leaded glass; several have no glass remaining; small porch is inset with turned columns; heavy, ornate entry doors; pier and beam foundation; addition at rear; bungalow-style 2-story garage at rear.
Significance: Good example of style but very deteriorated. Mr. Cochran, associated with the Lufkin Land and Lumber Company, lived in the house for only a few years, before selling it.
