- Significance: The 1928 directory lists Delmas and Jacque Newsom at Sun Mantooth; he worked at the Lufkin Coca Cola Bottling Company. The 1937 directory list the Newsoms at 420 Mantooth; he was Associate Manager of the Coca Cola Bottling Company. The different addresses can probably be attributed to a large scale address change throughout the city between 1928 and 1937, noted in the directories. The structure is a good example of a small Mediterranian Revival style residence in Lufkin. Nominated to the National Register. The significance is architecture.
