  • Description: 1-story; wood frame with grooved board siding; brick pier foundation with some lattice skirt; gable roofs, composition shingles, extended rafter ends, knee braces; extended porch, square brick piers with low brick wall; wood panel door with three upper lights, hood mold above; windows 1/1 wood double-hung with hood mold, arranged in pairs; irregular plan.
  • Significance: Had a cow pasture on west next to creek. Dr. & Mrs. Hawkins had
    the house built on S. Raguet; in 1936 they subdivided their 5 acres and moved the house back to the location on Turner.
