- Description: 1-story; board and batten siding; rectangular plan with shed addition; wood block foundation; gable roof and shed roofs, composition shingles; 4 x 4 wood posts at porch, two wood panel entry doors; 4/4 wood windows.
- Significance: Good example of worker housing. Lita M. Maberry describes four types of housing associated with the Angelina County Lumber Company. This structure seems to fall into the category of “Type D” houses, “usually unpainted, had two to three rooms, and were unfenced. They were generally used by the community’s lower income families.” Nominated to the National Register. The significance is industry and black ethnic culture.
