- Significance: Many of the houses in this Lake Addition were moved in from Red Town on the other side of Diboll and all painted white. Prior to that site they were at a logging camp at Fastrell. They are all 1-story frame built in 3 sections, the center or main section with two end sections or wings on either side. The three sections are tied together with cables and turnbuckles tightened by winches. The sections are tied to the other by two distinctive wood 4x4s. Originally most had bull nosed or 117 siding, 4/4 windows, gable composition roofs, and concrete block foundation. They constitute a significant type of worker housing moved from one place to another by rail cars. There are approximately 25 of these structures in the Lake Addition neighborhood.
