  • Description: 1-story; wood frame with beveled wood siding; concrete pier foundation; rectangular plan; front-facing gable roof with exposed rafter ends, composition shingles; inset screened porch with 4 x 4 porch supports, wood wainscot, two wood-paneled entry doors; windows 4/4 wood double-hung, generally in pairs; detached wood frame garage; set at 90 degrees.
  •  Significance:  Built by Southern Pine Lumber Company for White/Temple employees moving from Louisiana.  White/Temple enterprise was a mop and broom handle manufacturing facility, located at the current Diboll Temple Eastex mill.  It operated from 1938 until 1986.
