• Description: 1-story; wood frame with brick veneer; irregular plan; brick foundation; hip and gable roof with clay tile; tile ridge cap; extended porch, square brick columns with capitols, low brick wall with concrete coping, adjacent porte cochere; deep eaves, extended rafter and beam ends; windows 6/1 wood double-hung; multiple light entry door.
• Significance: Good example of type in old residential area adjacent to downtown. The 1928 City Directory listed the residence of Robert and Sudie E. Behannon. They had a meat market at 124 Dozier.
